Despite the fact that in most of the legislation of the EU member states, that is, the so-called In the continental legal system, the author owns the copyright in his work by the very act of creating the work, without the need to complete any formalities such as registration of the work or deposit (storage) of the work, in practice authors and later users of the work encounter numerous obstacles and difficulties in realizing and protection of their rights.<\/p>\n

By depositing author’s works with CCA, and obtaining a certificate of deposit, you provide additional material proof of your authorship.<\/p>\n

Source code escrow, or the depositing of the source code of a computer program, consists of entering into an agreement on depositing the code and handing over the source code to an independent third party, an agency, for safekeeping and a kind of insurance, and is often set by the licensee as a condition, or an advantage, for the realization business cooperation. The agreement is concluded between the licensor and the licensee of the software. The licensor deposits a copy of the source code of the software (and related technical components and documentation) with an independent agent, all corresponding rights and obligations of the agent, the licensor and the licensee are agreed upon in a tripartite agreement.
